Turf Pro is a family owned and operated business with roots dating back to 1986.
The company was founded by Frank Sturm, Sr. as Sturm Lawn & Landscaping Services, originally providing general landscaping services throughout the local community and surrounding areas. Built on hard work, personal service, and a commitment to doing things the right way, the business steadily grew through long-term customer relationships and word-of-mouth referrals.
As the years passed and our experience deepened, the company gradually shifted its focus toward soil health and turf management — areas where we could deliver consistent, lasting improvements for homeowners. Around 2000–2001, the business transitioned primarily to fertilization and lawn care programs, leading to the creation of Turf Pro, Inc.
While the name evolved, the principles established from the beginning never changed: treat customers honestly, take pride in the work, and prioritize long-term results over quick fixes.
