Fall Lawn Fertilizer & Treatment Program
Fall Lawn Care Program
Turf in New England is considered “cool-season grass.” This means it loves to grow during the spring and fall because of the crisp, cool weather, and regular rainfall. That’s why we apply a fall lawn fertilizer to help your turf recover from any stress or damage that it may have suffered during the summer. Our fall lawn care program takes advantage of these ideal growing conditions to not only green up your turf and encourage it to grow but to resupply it with precious nutrients.
At this time of year, we also recommend renovating your lawn with our lawn aeration service if needed. Aerating is the process of punching small holes into the ground with a machine called an aerator. This loosens the soil so nutrients (from our lawn care fertilizer program), as well as air and water can easily make penetrate deep into your turf’s vast root system. Coupled with our fall lawn maintenance program, aerating and overseeding is a great way to help thicken your turf up during a critical time of the season.
